The aroma is characterised by the refreshing and fruity aromas of the yeast, combined with the flowery scent of citrus caused by the hops.
La Trappe Puur is “Skal” certified, meaning only organic ingredients purchased directly from local farmers are used, while the grain residue is reused to bake bread. The result is an accessible, refreshing and smooth Trappist ale with a pleasant bitterness and a mild, dry finish.
Besides from being environmentally conscious, the fact that it comes from a Trappist brewery means that part of the brewery’s proceeds go to charity, social projects and disadvantaged people.
